Teeth Gap Bands can only treat teeth gaps smaller than 3.5mm. Before starting to use the bands, make sure that you are are using them on adult teeth.

Instructions

Teeth Gap Bands should be worn 12 hours a day until the gap is closed. After the gap is closed you should continue to wear the bands as often as possible for a consective 30 days to ensure the gap does not reopen.

Note

Be sure to you follow the instructions and do not miss more than 2 days during the process to make sure your gap stays closed.

How do I place the Teeth Gap bands on my teeth?

Take one band out of the package. Grasp one band with index finger and thumb of each hand and stretch it out. Slowly slide the band around the outside of the teeth with the gap between them. (Same way you would floss your teeth once you get one side in work on the other.)

How long should I wear the Teeth Gap bands?

You should wear the bands every night until the gap is closed. It will only take a couple of days for people with small gaps to close. For gaps 3mm or greater it will take a few weeks.

Will this fix my teeth if they are crooked?

No, it only pulls your teeth together to close the gap. Braces are needed to fix crooked teeth.

How long does it take for the gap to close?

It depends on the size of your gap. Small gaps can disappear in a week. Larger gaps take longer.

I have sensitive gums it is still okay to use the bands?

Yes, try not pushing the band all the way to the top of your gum line.

When should I stop using the Teeth Gap Bands on my teeth?

You should wear them as long as it takes to pull your teeth together. If you stop wearing them and the gap reappears repeat treatment.

If I have a large gap will new gaps form on either side of my old gap?

As your teeth come together it pushes on your gum causing it to contract so no new gap should appear. If you start to notice a gap use a teeth effect band on that gap as well. This will prevent new gaps from appearing.

What gap sizes do you recommend for using Teeth Gap?

We recommend Teeth Gap for gaps sizes 3 mm or less.

Is this treatment for all ages?

We don't recommend this treatment for children 12 and under or people with delicate teeth.

Once the gap has closed will it reappear once treatment stops?

If your teeth have not yet settled into position it can.

Will Teeth Gap work for multiple gaps?

For multiple gaps we suggest that you put one band around your first two teeth. After a few days or when you feel comfortable wearing it on your front teeth put two more bands on your teeth. Around the other two teeth with a gap between to close those gaps as well. So you will be wearing 3 bands at a time.

How does Teeth Gap Bands close Tooth Gaps?

Teeth Gap uses special Compressor bands called Teeth Gap to draw your teeth together. They provide "the pull" necessary to move the teeth quickly, and in the right direction. You stretch the teeth effect band when you put it around your teeth. Since the band is stretched out it pulls the teeth towards one another because it wants to contract.
